Happy Birthday Jesus Party: PJs & Pancakes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS PARTY
Kick off the Christmas season with us and say Happy Birthday to Jesus at our PJs and Pancakes Party! Doors open at 9:30am.  Your family can personalize their pancakes at our pancake bar, take a festive, family photo in your pjs, enjoy some awesome crafts, and more!

VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Sign up to volunteer at our Family Birthday Party for Jesus: PJs and Pancakes!  This event will be fun for all ages, but will specifically target families. We are looking for volunteers to help in these areas:

  • Carnival Game: Create, set-up, and volunteer at your own carnival game! You can bring prizes to give out -- or just have a fun game!

  • Crafts: We will have 3-5 crafts set-up for families. You can volunteer to help make sure the activities are running smoothly, supplies are available, and offer assistance, as needed.

  • Pancakes: Help us serve and keep the pancake bar stocked!

  • Welcome: If you love talking and meeting new families, we would love to have you help us welcome families and direct them.

  • Set-Up & Clean-Up: Be part of the team that arrives the evening before and/or early on Saturday to help with set-up and tear-down so that we can be ready for weekend services!

Please sign-up for all areas where you would like to volunteer.  You will need to have a background check on file to participate.  Thank you!

GIVE TO THE MISSION
This year, our mission focus is our global partner Ecuador. Our investment in the indigenous youth of La Violeta is already beginning to show great fruit. Prior to our involvement, the young people of this tiny mountain community had little to no hope. Today, the future looks brighter and better than it ever has, largely due to Springcreek’s investment in education. We know the best ticket out of poverty is a quality education. We want that for our kids and we want it for our brothers and sisters in Ecuador, too. Please consider making a special gift this year to our partnership with World Vision Ecuador in helping to change the life of a student forever. None of this would have happened without your generosity and willingness to see beyond your own needs to remember the needs of others. You’re a blessing!

Springcreek Blood Drive
Benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas

The blood collected by Carter BloodCare during each blood drive we host does not belong to them. It belongs to the community – our community – ensuring that blood products are on the shelf before lives depend on it. Your generosity reminds us why it takes a true community effort to accept the challenge of saving lives.

We’ll have two coaches available for you on Sunday morning to give blood so we can accept more donors with less wait time. Register now to reserve your desired time slot and avoid a wait. Walk-ups also accepted. Give blood. Give life.

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat

We love our community and each year we get to put that love on display through an event called "Trunk or Treat." We open our campus up to our community by giving out candy from the decorated trunks of our cars, (or even a parking space) sharing snacks together, and playing games. This is a fun event on our campus with many opportunities to serve.

DONATE CANDY
We’re expecting a large turnout for this fun community event and we need your help! We are accepting bags of individually wrapped candy donations now through October 20. Drop off locations available in the main and NextGen lobbies.

SERVE
This event wouldn't exist without the many people who serve in various capacities. If you are interested in serving this event, there are lots of ways to get involved (trunk/space decorating, helping with food or inflatables, etc.)

DECORATE YOUR TRUNK
One hallmark feature of this event is the decorated trunks each year. Park your car, decorate your trunk (or just a parking space) and hand out candy to kids! It's super easy! We can help you come up with decorating ideas too.

Come on out for a fun night and connect with your Springcreek family and the community we serve!

Bible Study Basics

Bible Study Basics

Join Pastor Keith Stewart as he leads a three week Bible Study Basics class. Classes will be on Thursday nights, November 1, 8, and 15 from 7:00-8:00pm.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when studying the Bible is reading a passage or verse and immediately asking the question, “What does it mean?” That’s a step too far, too soon. Before we can ask “What does it mean?” We must first understand what Scripture says. In fact, the more time you spend figuring out what a verse actually says, the less time you’ll spend trying to discover its meaning. This short, three-hour course is designed to help equip you with the basic tools needed for understanding God’s Word. Pastor Keith will teach what to look for, why it’s important and how to put it all together for yourself.
