TALK TO A LEADER
What's the latest update?// SAFETY UPDATE AS OF MARCH 10, 2021 //In light of the Governor’s announcement to lift pandemic mandates, for the immediate future, we have decided to continue our current safety practices. While we are very encouraged by the current pandemic trends, we want to stay vigilant and encourage everyone to exercise personal responsibility, not just for ourselves, but for the well-being of others. At Springcreek, this will include temperature checks, wearing masks, social distancing, hand washing, sanitizing before and after services, and a touch-free environment. We will continue to closely listen to the medical experts, monitor our local school district protocols as our unique environment as a church is very similar, and plan on easing precautions as soon as safely possible. We care about you and the health of all our families, neighbors, and friends. Please keep praying, extending grace to others, and practicing unity as we go through this season together. Thank you for your understanding.
Will in-person services be different?
While we would love for our in-person gatherings to feel the same, we know that the way we interact with each other will be different. We will offer in-person services at 9:30AM & 11AM. Our services and guest interactions will be intentionally touch-free (e.g., no hugs or handshakes for now). Please follow the CDC pre-screening requirements (see below).
NextGen Kids’ Ministry is reopening Sundays at the 11AM service only beginning April 11, 2021. Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary programming will be available onsite.
Will all entrances be open?
We will exclusively use the front entrance of the building (east side). All other entrances will be closed. Doors will open at 9AM. Temperature checks will take place upon entry.
Are masks required?
Masks are required at all times while you are on campus. Masks will be provided if you don’t have one. If you are unable to wear a mask, we invite you to continue watching the services via our online campus. School-aged children are required to wear a mask as we follow GISD safety protocols for similar teaching environments.
How will the auditorium be set up for services?
We will be practicing social distancing at all times with reduced capacity. Seating will be every other row, with six feet (three chairs) between family groups. Families of the same household may sit together. All paper and pens have been removed from the seatbacks. Message notes are available online on the Springcreek website and app or simply scan the Message Notes QR code from the banner in the lobby.
What cleaning processes are in place?
Extensive cleaning and disinfecting procedures will take place regularly between services. Hand sanitizer stations will be available at entries and exits as well as throughout the building.
Will Shared Table and the complimentary coffee bar be open?
Shared Table, the complimentary coffee bar, and all water fountains will not be available.
Will the offering boxes and kiosks be available?
Giving will continue to be online. The offering boxes will be available in the lobby. We have three easy ways to give with options for a one-time gift or setting up recurring giving. One of our host team members will be available to assist you. Thank you for your generosity.

What about programming for kids?
NextGen Kids’ Ministry and programming will reopen on Sunday, April 11, 2021 for Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary kids through 5th Grade at the 11AM service only. Children are also always welcome to attend the main service with their families.
We will also continue our NextGen programming online (Preschool through 5th Grade) on our Springcreek Kids YouTube channel.
What about programming for students (Grades 6-12)?
NextGen Students (6th-12th Grades) and their community groups are currently meeting in-person for Midweek Student Service on Wednesday nights from 7-8PM at the Garland Campus. Student small groups launched last fall, along with safe in-person services, geared towards helping kids connect deeper in their small group communities. Students need to register for small groups by emailing email@example.com.
What are the CDC pre-screening requirements?
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19 and should not attend in-person services.
