Part 3: How to Be a Friend in Crisis
May 31, 2020

There’s nothing like a faithful friend. If you’ve ever had someone in your life who knew when to speak and when to keep their mouth shut, you know how unique that person truly is. Someone who knows how to be present to you in difficulty really is a priceless treasure.

But, as much as we can appreciate the value of a good friend, we probably also know the pain of being failed or even hurt by a friend – someone who said things that made us feel bad, who made us think our problems were all our fault, who left us feeling worse than before they arrived. This message will explore one of the oldest Bible stories there is, the story of the suffering of Job and the effect his friends had on him.
